Wilde Agency was proud to host a delegation of 14 marketers from Japan on Wednesday, October 7, 2015.Led by Akira Oka, President and CEO of Direct Marketing Japan, Inc., and one of Japan’s leading practitioners of direct marketing, his group was in Boston to attend the DMA’s &THEN15 conference and then visit with several local agencies.
The delegation was interested in learning more about Wilde Agency’s views on how differences in left brain/right brain information processing need to be accounted for in setting marketing strategy.
Using an interpreter, the agency introduced its guests to the role of behavioral science in marketing, explaining what behavioral scientists have learned about how the brain processes information and how Wilde Agency applies that learning to build more effective marketing campaigns. The discussion also explored how to utilize behavioral science to maximize the value of data analytic efforts, and the role of customer journey mapping in creating personalized experiences that change behavior.
